The church brass was founded as "Posaunenchor Holzhausen/Porta" in 1957. The former village Holzhausen/Porta is now part of the city of Porta Westfalica. It is in the north-eastern part of Northrhine-Westfalia, Germany. The church brass service the parish of the lutheran parish of Holzhausen and Holtrup an der Porta. We are a member of the Posaunenwerk Westfalen, an association of church brasses in the Westfalian area..
